The American Puppy Contest is designed so that any pup without prejudice may compete as an individual or with a Trainer. Why an individual title? The role of being a pup/dog is much that of an individual itself. It represents our inner independence and individuality. There are two titles.The American Leather Puppy title and the American Leather puppy Trainer title. Each title is judged on it's own guidelines and merit.

The American Leather puppy and American Leather puppy Trainer titles have been setup so that no individual may own them. The titles themselves are a piece of the community and therefore answer to the community itself. The titles are governed and given by the members of the American Puppy Mafia and it's owners. Simply put no contracts, no demands, and no political stuff.
